35mm Slide Example Final Result #2

The above slide was scanned and saved as a .JPEG file with dimensions of 6" x 4" at 300 pixels per inch. 300 ppi is good enough resolution to take to a print shop and they would consider it a high resolution image. This could be printed at a print shop at the original size and even enlarged up to 50% and still be viewed as high resolution. The same holds true if you wanted to take one of the files to a One Hour Photo. You should easily be able to enlarge your 4" x 6" photo to a 5" x 7" or even up to 8" x 10". For the sake of download speed, the image was saved at a JPEG quality of "5" where we normally save at a quality of "10."
