Do It Yourself 35mm Slide Scanning?
This slide was scanned with a
Pacific Image Prime Film 35mm slide scanner that
costs more than you are going to want to
pay and the results are still disappointing to
say the least.

Scanned at 9202 pixels per
inch that came to a file size of
317 megs!
At that rate, you can get two images per CD
slideshow.
Shadow areas are all
saturated and completely lacking in detail.
This is really NOT how you are going to
want your slides to end up looking.

If you went to all the trouble to have 35mm slides with the beautiful color and detail, why would you settle for an inferior conversion to digital format? Don't waste your time and your money. You may be disappointed if you try to do this yourself.
