Question:
Do you scan Double Half Frame Slides?
Answer:
Yes we do. These are scanned at $2 per slide and you have to put them in a stack all by themselves.
Half Frame Cameras
A half-frame camera was a camera using a film format at half the intended exposure format.
cameras using 35mm film, the size is 24x36mm, cameras taking 18x24mm exposures are called half-frame cameras.
This film format was popular in the 1960s. The small size allowed for a very compact camera, yet using the regular film that could be purchased anywhere. The popularity ended when cameras were able to be maed as small as the half-frame ones, but taking full 24x36mm exposures.
With a half-frame camera, you could fit twice as many pictures onto a standard roll of film. For example, 72 exposures on a 36-exposure roll, 48 on a 24-exposure roll.
