Organizing Your Digital Images
For DVD Slide Show Creation

1-100 Images = $20. Additional Images 5 cents each.
Example: 500 image Slideshow = $40.00

In order to take advantage of our low, low pricing, your digital images must be organized so that it minimizes the amount of work that we will have to do.

We need all your images put in folders with no more than one level of subfolders for each disk that we are creating. In other words, you can have ONE folder on your disk with multiple other subfolders within that folder, BUT, you cannot have subfolders within these subfolders. See below for the right way and the wrong way. If we are making DVD-R disks, figure on a maximum of 650 images per disk. If we are making a VCD2 disk, figure on a maximum of 310 images per disk.

The RIGHT way to organize
All sub folders in one folder.

File Naming Instructions

Realize that your folders and images are going to be sorting by image NAME, so name accordingly or keep this in mind if you are renaming to change where an image sorts to. If you name with more than 8 characters, our DVD creation program will rename the files and folders.

No more than 8 characters or spaces in a folder or file name. The file name should have the extension of .jpg and this is not counted in the 8 characters.

Try to keep the number of images in each folder to about 100 or so. If you make extra large folders, then we may not be able to get as many images on a disk and will have to charge you for making more disks than were necessary. In other words, if you make two folders with 350 images in each, we can only get one folder on the disk.

The maximum number of images per DVD-R Disk is 650 or about 1 meg per image.

There is an added charge if you want us to make disks that are not close to full and meaning we have to make more disks than would normally be necessary if you had organized better.

Again, have your folders and images organized and named so that all we have to do is copy all the folders into one large folder on our hard drive.
