Kodak Carousel Shipping

This applies to Kodak or Kodak compatible carousels only.
For all other Carousels or slide trays, you must remove the slides and put them in stacks that can be held in one hand. (See instructions.)

Slides in the 80 or 140 slide carousels can be sent in the carousel. The slides in the "Ferris wheel" type, which hold 100 slides, are stuck in tight so they don't fall out and are difficult to get out.

How to ship a 35mm slide carousel

We Encourage You To Send
Your Slides In The Kodak Carousels.

Do you have your slides all stored in 35 mm slide carousels? No doubt they are all organized already. That's a big start! Yes, it will cost you a little more to ship this way but your time is worth something. Consider how much time you will have to spend if you take all those slides out, stack them in 2" to 4" stacks, label them and rubber band them.

Figure about $1.50 to $1.75 for shipping each carousel to us. Just a rough estimate but it should be close.

Make sure the locking ring on the inside of the tray is tight and this should take care of any noise issue.

A 140 slide carousel in the box

The box below has thirteen carousel boxes in it with each carousel having 140 slides. The box dimensions are as follows:
23" Length x 18" Width x 11" Height and weighs 32 pounds.

The box below is 18" length x 14" width x 11" high. The weight is 18 pounds and it holds seven 35mm slide carousels.

2008 UPS pricing for sending the above boxes from a UPS Customer Counter, via Ground shipment from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin to Folsom, California:

18 pound box: $16.86
32 pound box: $26.58

Here is FedEx pricing for the same boxes dropped off at a FedEx Customer Counter and shipped FedEx Ground:

18 pound box: $12.38
32 pound box: $19.30

You can save a lot of money by being able to drop off at a customer counter.
