In order to give our customers options as to what type of disk they may want their images and/or slide show created on, we have two disk formats to choose from and a third option of just getting a Data disk with only the images on the disk
The first option would be our VCD2 disk that will contain your images, a DVD high resolution Slide Show and a PC slide show that will play on any PC CD player. We like this format because it is like getting three disks in one and it is compatible with all computers and more than 90% of DVD players manufactured within the last 5 years. There are no added costs and the duplicates are less expensive to make. If you want to make your own duplicates, you can do that easily with this format of disk because most people will have a CD writer on their computer. Personally, this is what we would choose for ourselves if we were doing our own digitization project. We can get approximately 400 images on each of this type of disk.
The second option is for those of our customers who may have special reasons why they may want their slide show created onto a DVD disk. This disk is also included in our low standard pricing. We can get approximately 700 images on each disk. The amount varies depending on the sizes of the images and also on how much music is to be added. Play it safe and figure on 700 or less. Duplicate disks cost $10 each. Your images will also be included on this disk but the slide show will only play on your computer if you have a DVD player in your computer.
We will include our beautiful and fully paid for, royalty free music on your slide shows, if you want us to.
We leave it up to our customers to decide which format they would like. If our VCD2 disk plays in your DVD player, then we would say that there should be no reason to have the DVD format disk unless you want the musical slide show with all the extra bells and whistles.
The third option is to have your images placed on a CD or DVD Data disk. Just like option number one and number two, there is no extra charge for this option.
