How to Tell If Your Carousel Is Kodak-Compatible
Use the photo examples below to match the tops and bottoms of 80- or 140-slide carousels. If yours matches, it’s compatible with the Kodak format we handle. If you have Sawyers, Anscomatic, Wards, Viceroy, or Nikkormat carousels, they are more than likely not Kodak-compatible. Some Sears models are compatible—see the Sears section below.
Click here for the Carousel Shipping Page. Slides in 80 or 140 carousels can be sent in the carousel. The 100-slide “Ferris wheel” type grips slides tightly and can be difficult to unload. You need to unload them and put the slides into stacks and send the stacks to us for scanning. Or, we can take them out for you for a charge that matches the time needed to do that. Better for you to do it yourself.
Sears Carousel Compatibility
We have found that the Sears carousel for 35, 45, 55 projectors is compatible with the Kodak carousels we can handle.
Other Carousels & Slide Trays
This page applies to Kodak or Kodak-compatible carousels only. For all other carousels or slide trays, please remove the slides and put them in stacks that can be held in one hand. See slide prep instructions.
