Add readable titles and captions to your digitized slides and photos. We can insert text frames at chapter starts and place short on-photo labels so people, places, and dates are easy to identify.
How to Send Your Text
Please note: Send the exact wording for your text frames (and any on-photo labels) as plain text in an email or attached text document. We copy and paste your text to avoid spelling errors. If we must type for you, corrections after creation may require re-compiling fees.
Text Added to Pictures
We can place brief, readable labels on your photos to identify people, locations, or dates. The typical charge is $1 per photo (more if there’s an excessive amount of text). Please provide your exact wording via email or text document so names and details are spelled correctly.
Text Frames (Chapter Openers)
Text frames are inserted at the beginning of a chapter and will appear on the DVD menu as selectable items. Please arrange your slides so each text frame starts a chapter. We include up to 12 chapters at no extra charge; additional chapters over 12 are $1 each. Send your text in email or a text file to ensure proper spelling.
Keep text frames concise for best readability on the DVD menu. Longer wording forces smaller fonts and can be hard to read on TVs.
Cost for Text Frames
When you provide the exact text (email or text file), the charge is $1 per text frame. If we need to type from handwritten notes or re-type copy for you, the charge is $2 per text frame and does not include proofreading for every word. If an error is discovered after creation and you request changes, it’s an additional $2 per text frame. If the disk has already been created, a $20 fee applies to re-compile the disk.
