35mm 3D Stereo Slide Scanning (Stereo Viewer Slides)
Yes—we scan 3D stereo slides. Price is $1 per slide. We digitize one side (“single-eye”) of each stereo pair into a high-quality 2D image and include free image enhancement.
Typical output is approximately ~2998 × 2598 pixels (about 9.9" × 8.6" at 300 dpi). Great for archiving, sharing, and making prints.
Keep slides grouped and facing the same way to preserve orientation.
If tape is deteriorating, carefully remove glass and stack the film before shipping (see prep tips below).
What You’ll Receive
- One high-resolution 2D digital image per stereo slide (from a single eye of the pair).
- Free enhancement on every image (exposure/color optimization, gentle cleanup).
- Files returned on your chosen media (thumb drive or download—see order form).
Pricing
- $1.50 per 3D stereo slide (no quantity discount due to manual handling).
Important Notes
- This service does not create a 3D/anaglyph image. You’ll receive a high-quality 2D file from one side of the stereo pair.
- For standard (non-stereo) 35mm slides, please see 35mm Slide Scanning.
- For personal View-Master reel scanning, we can digitize non-commercial reels you photographed yourself.
Prep Tips for Best Results
- Remove glass and failing tape from glass-bound mounts where possible; stack film carefully.
- Keep all slides oriented the same way and grouped as you want them scanned.
- See detailed guidance: 3D Stereo Slide Prep and Cleaning Slides.
Copyright Reminder
We can only digitize your personal, non-commercial material. Commercially produced reels/slides are typically copyright-protected.
