Avast Anti-Virus: How to scan a folder

Start the Avast Anti-Virus program.

It will be in the Start\Programs\Avast menu.

 

 

The program will start and it even has its own help menu, just because it is not user freindly.

 

Click on the Folder icon.

 

 

 

Now find the folder that you want to scan and put a check mark on it.

Click OK and you will now see the selected folders displayed.

Now, click on the start button and the folder will be scanned.
