Digital Photo Frames
Enjoy a rotating slideshow of your memories on a modern digital photo frame. We scan your 35mm slides, 3D stereo slides, negatives, and paper photos so you can view them on a desk, mantle, or wall—no computer required.
Old Photo does NOT SELL digital photo frames. You can buy them at many stores; this page simply shows one great way to enjoy your digitized images.
What is a Digital Photo Frame?
A digital photo frame is a small LCD screen inside a picture frame that plays a slideshow of images from a memory card or USB flash drive. Many models can also play short video clips and offer transitions like dissolve, checkerboard, or wipe-down between photos.
Why Pair It with Our Scanning?
Once we digitize your slides and photos, you can carry thousands of images on a tiny flash drive or card, swap cards instantly, and keep your best moments visible every day. We can even load images to your card for a nominal fee if you prefer.
How It Works
- We scan your slides, negatives, and paper photos to high-quality digital files.
- You copy the files to an SD card or USB flash drive (or ask us to do this for you).
- Insert the card/drive into the frame and set the slideshow speed, rotation, and effects using the on-screen menu.
Many frames support thumbnail browsing, manual advance, and automatic rotation for vertical or horizontal viewing.
Examples Mentioned
Earlier models like the Westinghouse 5.6" LCD Digital Photo Frame (DPF-0561) and the CEIVA Digital Photo Receiver were popular ways to showcase large photo libraries. CEIVA frames could even receive new photos daily without a computer.
