Double Half Frame Slide Scanning

Yes—we scan double half frame slides. The rate is $2 per slide, and these slides must be placed in a stack by themselves for proper handling and accurate orientation.

What are double half frame slides?

A half-frame camera exposes an 18×24 mm image on standard 35 mm film (full-frame is 24×36 mm). Many families used these compact cameras in the 1960s because they doubled the shots per roll—up to 72 images on a 36-exposure roll.

Double half frame mounts often pair two adjacent half-frames in a single 35 mm slide mount. We scan each image area with care so you get clean, correctly oriented digital files.

Why digitize these slides now?

Color slides are dyes on film—they fade over time. Scanning protects your memories, makes them easy to share, and ensures future-proof access without projectors or specialty viewers.
