Pack Your Slides In A Shoe Box
One of our customers shared a simple, effective way to pack slides for shipping—use a shoebox and cardboard spacers to keep rows separated and in order.
This shoebox was just the right width: 6 1/4". Slides are 2" wide so there is just enough room to get the rows of slides and the two cardboard spacers. Make sure you put spacers in to keep the slides from shuffling together. We have seen that happen too many times.
Note that the box has been cut down to just the height of the slides.
There were not enough slides to fill the box so a spacer was used to fill the empty area.
Spacers were inserted to keep the slides from shuffling.
Note the tape holding the cut piece of thin cardboard, below. Better to tape the spacer to hold it in place.
All slides facing the same direction.
