VISTA: Disable pop-up balloon tips

Stop the irritating pop-up balloon tips all over the place in Vista?

Use this tip to stop them from showing.

1. Start Button, then Run

2. Type in gpedit.msc and press Enter key.

3. Drill down: Configuration, Administrative Templates and Start Menu and Taskbar.

4. Select Remove Balloon Tips on Start Menu items, right click on it and select Properties.

5. Select Enable and click OK.

6. Close Group Policy Editor.
