Kodak 35mm Slide Carousel Shipping Instructions

If you are sending photographs in an envelope, always include at least one—ideally two—pieces of corrugated cardboard to keep the package from bending. Even mounted photos need this extra protection. A box is better than an envelope and provides more reliable protection in transit.

The absolute safest way to ship your photographs is by FedEx. Rather than buying extra insurance, invest in the most reliable shipping method.

Directions: see 35mm Slide Packaging and 35mm Carousel Shipping.

Pack-and-ship stores like Mail Boxes Etc. and PostNet do an excellent job of packing.

If you know the dimensions and weight of your package, call FedEx at 800-463-3339 for a rate estimate. Want a FedEx return shipment? Include a completed FedEx Airbill with your slide scanning order and bill it to your FedEx account or credit card. We’ll place it on your return package.
