35mm Slide Scanning Example – Final Result #2

This is a real-world sample from our 35 mm slide workflow. Years ago we showcased 3200 ppi; today our standard is true 4000 ppi for even cleaner detail and better print headroom. Thumbnails below link to additional examples.

Historically, example pages referenced 6″ × 4″ (300 ppi print resolution) output from 3200 ppi scans, which could print at original size and often enlarge to 5″ × 7″ or 8″ × 10″ with solid quality. We now scan at 4000 ppi, providing even more usable pixels for prints and crops.
